Raptor Wing V3

Developed in close collaboration between our esteemed athletes and talented designers, the Raptor Wing V3 represents a significant upgrade to our Raptor wings. The V3 features a lower aspect ratio shape, accompanied by increased segmented support along the leading edge, resulting in power, enhanced wing control during turns, and improved stability for free-flying and wave riding.

Notable enhancements include a redesigned center strut shape with mini booms, providing ergonomic comfort and efficient power management for optimal pumping efficiency. Additionally, incorporating new windows ensures improved safety and compliance with upcoming racing safety

requirements. The wing also boasts stiffer, more durable fabrics and enhanced paneling alignments, reducing fluttering during flight and extending the overall longevity of the wing.

SIC’s enhanced ExoTex leading-edge material offers a lightweight solution with improved tensile strength and durability, enabling it to withstand the rigorous forces and stresses experienced during flight without compromising weight. This strength is essential for preserving the structural integrity of the inflatable wing, enabling it to endure aerodynamic forces and retain its intended shape. Its low stretch properties also ensure that the fabric remains steadfast, maintaining its shape and size even when exposed to high pressures and heavy loads.
